If you have wandered into this space than you’re probably searching for support, tools, and change at this time.

I understand, I’ve been there - not just in my work as a Clinical Psychologist and Spiritual Educator - but because I’ve experienced my own personal journey of challenge, change, growth and expansion.

And I’ve learned that we aren’t meant to go it alone, that the right support is invaluable to our journeys, and that listening to our hearts, trusting our path, and learning how to live with resilience, intention and meaning is vital to our wellness of being.

A little bit about my personal story and how it intersects with who I am now…

Back in 2015, my life looked very different than it does now.

Psychology was my career path for almost 20 years. I earned my doctorate in psychology by age 26, and I spent the first 15 years of my career running a psychological practice in Alaska. I dedicated my time and energy to helping others understand their unique psyche, find healing, and craft authentic lives.

I grew too through this process, and I learned a lot about psychology, being human and what it truly means to heal and be whole.

As I was preparing to step into 2016, I could feel a sense of growth wanting to spring forth and emerge. My intuition felt like it was preparing me for something, but I didn’t know what.

“What” was not what I thought it would be.

In January 2016 I lost my brother Brent, and my subsequent grief journey was both shattering, breaking, and awakening.

Part of what was born from the ashes of that time was the awareness that there was something more for me, even though I didn’t fully understand what that was.

I just knew that I had a desire to live more intuitively, creatively and spiritually, and I felt called to radical change and reinvention.

I listened to my heart, I trusted my intuition, I took a big leap of faith and now I live in Kauai where I’ve learned quite a bit about trusting the wild path of the heart.

Since I made that leap of faith, I’ve had the joy of experiencing a lot of new things:

  • I maintained a telepsychology practice and expanded my services to work with clientele in Hawaii and Alaska.

  • I learned to develop my intuitive gifts and create new offerings for those seeking spiritual development.

  • I traveled back to Alaska and did an event weekend that included a book signing, on-stage talk, and women’s wisdom circle.

  • I taught a lot of online classes and workshops on a variety of spiritual, wellness, and self-care topics.

  • I had new space to write, dance, art, create, explore my inner world and expand into a bigger sense of self.

Mostly I learned that we all have dreams and desires inside of ourselves that want to come out, grow, and expand, so we can feel we embody embody our wholeness of being and live with intention and meaning.

Stay on the path when the light is bright and find a tree to rest against when things grow dark and you need some time to regroup, replenish, rejuvenate. Honor your pace of self, know it will be different than anyone else.

A little bit about my professional services and background…

I offer services using both my clinical and psychological skills and my intuitive and creative gifts to create holistic vehicles for healing that meet you where you are at including individual telehealth sessions (Alaska, Hawaii & Illinois), clinical consultation for other helpers and healers, individual intuitive guidance sessions, and group work.

Here’s some of the issues and challenges I often hear and work with:

  • I’ve been through a major loss, grief, or life transition. Life doesn’t look at all the way I thought it would, and I’m struggling to make sense of things and make sense of myself.

  • I’m struggling with anxiety, depression, my mood and/or not feeling like myself, and I’m seeking help at this time- I’d like to live with more peace.

  • I know I have trauma that I need to heal, but I don’t know how to access it or what I need to do for healing.

  • I feel like my inner guidance is telling me something, but without external validation, it’s difficult to trust my intuition.

  • I identify as a highly sensitive person and/or empath, and I struggle with not taking on others’ baggage and creating boundaries for myself.

Areas of expertise include: trauma, griefwork, highly sensitive people, compassion fatigue, women’s issues, emotional intelligence, anxiety reduction, life transitions, relationship issues, mindfulness, creativity as a tool for healing, healing the relationship with the self, creating a meaningful life through change and challenge, and fostering resilience and personal growth in the current climate of ongoing change.

Living intuitively and walking the path of the heart is not for the faint of heart. It is a bold, beautiful, juicy existence of following the cake crumbs of our soul, and collaging our bigger picture of purpose together through trust, authenticity, and paying attention to where our heart leads. It’s about making space to allow, listen, receive, and be in relationship with the sentience of the universe. Mostly it’s about trust. Trusting the path. Trusting the voice. Trusting the unknown and the unseen.
